The 2021 Super Duty® comes with three distinct engine options, each of which packs a powerful punch. The standard 6.2-liter flex-fuel gas V8 engine delivers 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The available 7.3-liter port fuel-injected gas V8 reaches best-in-class 430 horsepower and best-in-class 475 lb-ft of torque.
And, the available 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel achieves class-leading 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. You can pair the engines with the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission for optimal shift performance.

Towing capacities

On top of offering some unbeatable engines, the 2021 Ford Super Duty® also surpasses its competition when it comes to towing. This truck has a best-in-class maximum available gas conventional towing rating of 21,000 pounds as well as a best-in-class available diesel conventional towing rating of up to 24,200 pounds when properly equipped. The truck even offers an available fifth-wheel tow rating of up to 32,500 pounds, which also tops its class.

Off-roading features

If you need to do hard work off the beaten path, the 2021 Ford Super Duty® also has you covered. Opt for the Tremor Off-Road Package to improve your performance on a variety of terrains. This package comes with an off-road-tuned suspension for the front and rear, selectable Trail Control™ and Rock Crawl modes, 35-inch maximum-traction tires, 1.7-inch twin-tube dampers, and a 2-inch front lift.
When equipped with the package, the 2021 Super Duty® also achieves a water fording rating of 33 inches and an approach angle of 31.7 degrees, both of which are the best in class.

A strong exterior

The 2021 Super Duty® is incredibly tough, constructed from high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy that is not only rust-proof but also resistant to body damage. The body is significantly lighter than the previous model while still having the strength you need to transport materials around the job site. The truck also has a fully boxed high-strength steel frame that has a maximum of 10 crossmembers and works to reduce flexing as well as increase torsional rigidity.

Cabin comforts

Though the 2021 Super Duty® is best known for its rugged performance, the heavy-duty pickup also has a seriously comfortable cabin for staying cozy while working or taking a lunch break. The cabin has available heated and ventilated leather seats with memory settings and 10-way adjustability for the ultimate relaxation.
An available rapid-heat supplemental cab heater also quickly increases the cabin temperature so working on chilly winter mornings is more convenient. And, you can add a class-exclusive folding lockable under-seat box to the cabin to secure any valuables during the ride.

Stay aware of key vehicle information by downloading the FordPass™ app onto your smartphone and connect your smartphone to an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot to check emails on the go. The optional SYNC® 3 system also makes it easy to send a message or make a phone call from the driver’s seat.
