The Titans Have A Brand New Look!

If you missed it, on Thursday night, the Tennessee Titans finally unveiled their new look for the franchise, in an awesome event at The Pinnacle downtown.

The new logo and uniforms look INCREDIBLE, leaning into the old Houston Oilers color scheme. It’s a fresh look, with an old feel, for a team that has a bright future ahead. A new stadium is coming, a new coaching staff is here, and it seems like a new era of Titans football is upon us.

There are a few really cool details in this uniform that highlight the Titans’ desire to connect Nashville and the state of Tennessee. First, the word mark on the chest of the away jerseys saying TENNESSEE, instead of Titans. When they’re not in Nissan Stadium, they’re representing the entire state. Second, the tri-star on the back tab and under the arms of the jersey, shouting out the whole state, not just Nashville.

Then finally, my favorite. The “6-String Stripe”. This appears on the helmet, the bicep of the jersey, and down the leg of the pants. A subtle, but distinct nod to Nashville and Music City. It’s not an over-the-top tribute, that feels gimmicky. It’s a perfect nod to the home of the team, while so much of the uniform focuses on unity of the entire state.

Well done, Titans!

I can’t wait to see Cam Ward, Jeffery Simmons, and the rest of the Titans rock these new light blue uniforms this fall!
