It’s Monday morning, which means the dust is still settling from the NFL Draft over the weekend. There was tons of excitement in Kansas City, as quarterbacks were drafted, trades were made, and teams jockeyed for positioning, as they tried to improve their teams.

The Titans were no exception, as rumors swirled all last week, and late into Thursday, about to possibility of a trade up in the 1st round, which would’ve theoretically been done to draft either Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, or Anthony Richardson, the 3 QBs who went in the first 4 picks.

Ultimately, the move did not happen, and the Titans picked at #11, drafting Northwestern OL Peter Skoronski, a stocky stud of a lineman, who is expected to be the cornerstone of the Titans offensive line for years to come.

Skoronski was considered a blue-chip talent by many, including the Titans. Titans GM Ran Carthon said in a press conference over the weekend that they highly coveted Skoronski, and weren’t expecting him to be available at 11. So when their turn came, the pick was a no-brainer.

Friday, as we prepared for the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Draft, the Titans made a move up, trading into the 33rd pick, drafting Kentucky QB Will Levis, who had slid out of the 1st round.

Many expected Levis to be a top-5 pick, but when the league passed him by on Thursday night, the Titans saw an opportunity for the future.

After taking Levis in the 2nd round, they drafted Tulane RB Tyjae Spears, a player with a rough medical history, but incredible college tape. Spears ran for over 1,500 yards last season, and tallied 21 total TDs.

The Spears pick was met with criticism, as the Titans desperately need help at WR, but the team ultimately decided to wait until the 7th round to get a wideout, drafting UT Martin Colton Dowell with the 228th pick.

Carthon and Vrabel also added Cincinnati TE Josh Whyle in the 5th round and Maryland OT Jaelyn Duncan in the 6th.

The Titans draft class received mixed reviews, with many pointing out the fact that the team didn’t add any legitimate WRs, a position that still desperately needs help.

In a presser though, Mike Vrabel indicated that the Titans roster was by no means set in stone, saying that the roster is “good enough for Monday”.

While the Titans didn’t make any flashy picks, many believe that the Titans got much better, drafting all offensive players, adding great ability and functionality to the roster.

We also got this gem on Saturday, as the Titans draft room trolled the fans, smiling and waving to the cameras, after taking Josh Whyle in the 5th round! Gotta love it!

Stay tuned for all the summer offseason drama, as the Titans head into rookie minicamp soon. Titan Up!
