DHop is Off to a Nice Start in Tennessee

In July, the Titans agreed to terms with superstar WR DeAndre Hopkins on a 2-year, $32 million contract, bringing stud weapon to Tennessee. Since then, Hopkins has brought a spark to the Titans’ offense, along with an air of consistency and reliability that a team full of young, inexperienced players needs. On Sunday, in the Titans 27-3 beatdown of the Cincinnati Bengals, Hopkins had 4 catches for 63 yards, including 3 third down conversions that proved to be huge for the Titans.

Despite not scoring a TD yet this season, or having a flashy 100+ yard game, he has been a reliable outlet for QB Ryan Tannehill, on an offense with not a lot of experience of reliability.

There is no doubt that we will see a “vintage” DHop game soon, where the 5x All-Pro is flying high, snagging passes out of the air left and right. But even without those types of highlight games, Hopkins still is a crucial part of the Titans offensive scheme. He’s savvy, he’s freakishly talented, and he knows how to change a game from his position on the outside.

We’re so thrilled he’s a Titan because of what he brings to the field, but we also love seeing him around town, riding in style in his Ford! He’s a good friend and customer of Two Rivers Ford, and we’re so happy to see him doing great things in two-tone blue!

Keep balling, DHop!

Out of the Park Citizen of the Month!

We’re so pumped to announce that this month, the Two Rivers Ford Out of the Park Citizen of the Month is none other than our GSM Joel Hawley! Joel has been a part of the Two Rivers family for 29 years now, and him and his wife Billie both quietly and humbly serve our community, leading as true examples of their Christian faith. Joel is passionate about organizations like Compassionate Hands & the Tennessee Heat, but loves to help in whatever way he can!

While talking with the The Chronicle of Mt. Juliet and Main Street Today, Joel said “You don’t have to look far to help someone”, and we couldn’t agree more. There’s always someone in need of a helping hand, you just have to be willing to step out and give it. Today, we celebrate you Joel, and your wife Billie, for all that you do for the Mount Juliet and Wilson County community!
