Football is Right around the Corner

Summer is coming to an end (even though it doesn’t feel like it outside), which means one thing…IT’S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!

The #12 Vols kickoff this weekend at 11 A.M. against Virginia, in Nissan Stadium on ABC. It’s the first matchup of the year for a UT Vols team that has very high expectations, after an outstanding 2022 season. Hendon Hooker, Jalin Hyatt, and some of the better players from that 2022 team are in the NFL these days, but Josh Heupel, Joe Milton, and company are ready to roll, with their sights set on an SEC Championship.

The Vols are a 28-point favorite over the Cavaliers right now, however, crazy things happen in college football, so the Vols and their fans can’t get too cocky! That being said, this Vols team is stacked top to bottom with talent, including a freshman class that made up the 12th best recruiting class in the country.

Nissan Stadium is sure to be packed to the rafters with orange and white, as the Vols faithful descend on the home of the Titans for the start of what is sure to be an incredible year for Tennessee football!

Go Vols!
