Titans Preseason is Under Way

The Titans preseason officially kicked off last weekend in Chicago with a Noon game versus the Bears. The Titans ultimately lost 23-17 in a hard fought game, but in the preseason, wins and losses don’t matter. It’s all about seeing the development of rookies and inexperienced players, as you get prepared for the regular season.

Last week, and for the next 2 games, all eyes will be on 2nd-year QB Malik Willis and rookie QB Will Levis, who will split snaps and run the show for the Titans in the preseason.

Against Chicago, Willis edged out Levis with a slightly better performance, and some loftier stats.

Willis: 16/25 passing, 189 passing yards, 1 INT, 3 rushes, 22 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD

Levis: 9/14 passing, 85 yards, 1 INT, 1 rush, 6 rushing yards

Willis is expected to start again this Saturday night versus the Minnesota Vikings, in the Titans 2nd preseason game. Who will ultimately end up backing up Ryan Tannehill? The next two games will tell us!
