Fallon Stops by Ford

This past Friday, comedian Jimmy Fallon stopped by the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, MI to hang out with Ford CEO Jim Farley and factory workers who build the all-electric F-150 Lightning pickup truck. Fallon toured the facility for roughly an hour, checking out the process, while also stopping to crack jokes and take pictures with Ford employees.

Once upon a time, Fallon starred on “Saturday Night Live”, as did Chris Farley, the late cousin of CEO Jim Farley.

Fallon has spent time on The Tonight Show poking fun at the F-150 Lightning’s infamous “Frunk”, which led to lots of fun and laughter on the tour, as he met the people who install the front trunks on the Lightnings!

Fallon and Farley’s Relationship with Ford

Fallon and Farley spent time during the visit talking about some of Ford’s newest and coolest vehicles, including the Lightning, Bronco Raptor and Mustang Shelby GT500. Afterwards, they even drove the Ford test track together!

Fallon has been a Ford man for quite some time, having joked in the past the his Ford pickup was bigger than his first NYC apartment. Recently, Jim Farley started a podcast called “Drive” which he hosts. The show celebrates the role cars play in our personal lives. Fallon has been a guest on the show before, not as a paid guest, but because he loves Ford and cars that much!

After the visit, Fallon tweeted at Farley, “You are so smart, fun and a badass. Most importantly – you treat your employees like family and I was so happy to see it all first hand. Thank you for inviting me…I told ya I’d come and hang!!!!”

Overall, it looked like an awesome day for Fallon, Farley, and the whole Ford Dearborn crew!
