Nolensville Little League Falls in US LLWS Championship

As we’ve mentioned in past weeks, Two Rivers Ford is now a major sponsor of the Mount Juliet League.

We’re Wilson County proud, and love the people of Mt. Juliet, however, we’ve loved cheering on the Nolensville Little League team as they continued to advance in the LLWS!

Sadly, over the weekend, the Nolensville Little League team fell one game short of the LLWS Championship Game, losing to Hawaii 5-1 in the US Championship.

We want to give a big shoutout to the Nolesnville boys though for putting on an amazing show and making all us Tennesseeans very proud!

The Most Expensive Ford Escort of All Time

Over the weekend, the late Princess Diana’s 1985 Ford Escort sold for a whopping $851,070 after the buyer’s premium was added. In the days leading up to the auction, Silverstone Auctions expected the People’s Princess’ vehicle to sell for a little over $100,000. After a fierce bidding war, the final price tag was nearly $900k.

The Ford Escort was typically made in white, but was painted in black at the request of the royal family police guard. Princess Diana owned the vehicle from 1985-1988, when she returned it to Ford with just under 7,000 miles on it.
