The Big 4-0!

At Two Rivers Ford, the year 2023 is all about the number 40! This marks our 40th year of business and service with the Middle Tennessee community, and it’s also symbolic of some great recognition that our VP Matthew Barker received last month. Matthew’s alma mater, the University of Mississippi, recently announced their annual “40 Under 40” class, with Matthew making the list!

And with 10+ years left before he turns 40, we expect to see Matthew land on this list a few more times!

We’re so proud of Matthew for all that he has done for Two Rivers Ford, well before he ever rose to the rank of Vice President. He’s an excellent ambassador for the dealership, its employees, and someone we’re very proud to call a friend! Way to go Matthew!

Speaking of 40…

As we’ve mentioned before, all month long, we’ll be celebrating our 40th anniversary. What better time to come buy a new vehicle from Two Rivers Ford, than in our birth month AND Ford Truck Month!

Doesn’t get much better than that!

We’ll celebrate another sale of America’s best pickup, while you celebrate with a brand new (or used) Ford of your dreams. That’s called having your cake and eating it too!

Titanic Moves Pending?

With the Titans’ recent hiring of new GM Ran Carthon, this offseason is sure to be full of new and unexpected moves, as Carthon works to restructure a pretty rough team, in need of financial help. He’s already cut long time Titan Taylor Lewan, and others like Bud Dupee and Robert Woods, who commanded too much money in 2023.

Many think that the Titans could move on from QB Ryan Tannehill as well, since he’s due $27M this season.

One Titan that many would most would expect to be off-limits though, has recently been shopped around by the new Titans leader…

Now, just because the Titans are listening to offers, doesn’t mean that anything will happen. “Listening to offers” and trying to trade a player, are two very different things. Listening to offers is part of a GM’s responsibilities. It’s how you build a team and a franchise, especially when you’re going through a rough patch like the Titans are. No one can be off limits, when you need any and every bit of help that you can find.
Derrick Henry might be synonymous with the Titans brand, but at the end of the day, would you rather have Derrick Henry and win 7-10 games? Or trade him, acquire more talent, and compete for a Super Bowl?

Kind of a no-brainer…
