Chiefs Win Super Bowl 57 with Dramatic Comeback

For the 2nd time in the last 5 years, the Kansas City Chiefs took home the Lombardi Trophy, after a dramatic 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last night. After trailing 24-14 at half, and being dominated by Philly up to that point, the Chiefs came alive in the 2nd half.

Patrick Mahomes once again proved why he’s the best QB in the league. Last night was just the 2nd time that a team has ever won the Super Bowl, after trailing by 10+ at half time. Teams that led by 10+ at halftime were 18-1 all time.

Mahomes has now won 2 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVPs, and 2 NFL MVPs, all in just 5 years as the Chiefs starting QB. It’s hard to make a Tom Brady comparison this early in his career, but at this rate, Mahomes will far surpass all of Brady’s seemingly unbreakable records.
