Ford is BACK in Formula 1!

Friday morning, Ford CEO Jim Farley announced that the company intends to return to Formula 1 in 2026! Ford’s involvement in F1 dates back to the 1960s, when Ford and partner Cosworth won 155 of 262 races between 1967 and 1985! Ford has played a part in 10 Constructors Championships and 13 Drivers Championships, making them the third most successful engine manufacturer in F1 history.

According to reports, the engine regulations that will come soon, including increased electrical power and 100% sustainable fuels enticed Farley and Ford into a return.

As I wrote about 2 weeks ago, Ford CEO Jim Farley has expressed a desire to bring Ford back into the motorsports game, especially with such rich history shared between Ford Motor and various motorsports.

The announcement was met with much fanfare and excitement, as Ford and racing fans around the world anxiously await Ford’s return to the grid!
