Titans Lay an Egg at Home vs Jaguars
Sunday afternoon, the Titans dropped to 7-6 with an embarrassing loss at home to the Jaguars. It was the Titans 3rd loss in a row, coming just days after long-time GM Jon Robinson was fired, in a shocking move.
The Titans jumped out to a 14-7 lead, looking strong early on behind Derrick Henry. But in the blink of an eye, the lead was gone, and the Titans trailed 36-14. The Titans held on for a while, scoring in the 4th quarter to make it 36-22, but that was as far as the comeback would go.
Final score: Jaguars 36 Titans 22
After the game, Titans coach Mike Vrabel was clearly upset, frustrated, and downright lost, like most of the team. It was the first time the Titans lost at home to Jacksonville since 2013.
The Titans travel to LA to face the Chargers next Sunday at 3:25pm, with this season getting very close to slipping away.
