A Wonderful Holiday Season

All December, the Metro Police Christmas Charities set out to provide baskets of food and toys for families in need all across the Metro area. This holiday season, their efforts were a huge success, as TONS of local families were able to receive a gift basket with food and toys in it!

We want to thank Metro Nashville Police, 94 FM The Fish, and EVERYONE who went out of their way to make this Christmas special for someone in need!
We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year very soon!

Titans Woes Continue

This past Saturday, on Christmas Eve, the Titans struggles got worse, as they lost at home to the 1-win Houston Texans by a score of 19-14. That loss marked the 5th in a row, for a Titans team that at one point in the season, was 7-3, and cruising to another AFC South division title.

Now, a Week 18 showdown in Jacksonville will determine the fate of the AFC South, and whether the Titans will make the playoffs.

The team has been riddled with injuries, currently on pace to lead the NFL for a 2nd consecutive year in different players played. In case that was confusing, the Titans are so hurt across the board, that they’ve had to use more unique players than any other team in the league…for a 2nd consecutive season.

Death, taxes, and Titans players getting hurt.

There seems to be no end in sight for this team’s struggles, as more guys get hurt, and the schedule only gets harder. This Thursday night, the Titans will play the 11-4 Dallas Cowboys at Nissan Stadium, in front of a primetime audience.

Yikes…

Vols Set for Big Orange Bowl

Friday night, the UT Vols are set for an orange on orange Orange Bowl in Miami, FL. The #6 ranked Vols will take on the #7 ranked Clemson Tigers in arguably the best non-playoff bowl game.

Sadly, there will be a slew of players from both teams that won’t suit up, as some have begun preparation for the NFL Draft, while others have hit the transfer portal.

Among that list is Vols superstar WR Jalin Hyatt and WR Cedric Tillman, and Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei, WR EJ Williams, and DE Myles Murphy.

Regardless, the game should be entertaining and exciting, as the Vols look to cap off an incredible 2022 season that saw them reach #1, after defeating Alabama for the first time since 2006.
